Ground equipment

Ground equipment - special equipment intended for maintenance and repair of aircraft on the ground, including test equipment and equipment for cargo handling and passenger service. Ground equipment ensures the reception of an aircraft in the parking lot and prepare it for take-off with proper technical equipment.

The list of ground-based equipment is quite extensive and for each site a detailed description of technical characteristics, available options and principal differences is provided.  

GOST R 53428-2009 establishes terms and definitions of concepts in the field of airborne and ground equipment for the maintenance of air freight services.
