Greases and Lubricants

For the mechanisms of aircraft use the highest quality lubricants and greasess. For example, the aviation grease CIATIM-201, created about 35 years ago, is still widely used in aviation, now it is the most common frost-resistant grease of general purpose. Also as a ground-based frost-resistant lubricant, CIATIM-203 and ST (NK-50) survive as a heat-resistant lubricant. Recently, new aviation lubricants have appeared, such as: the era, VNII NP-254, VNII NP-261. They correspond to modern, sharply increased requirements for heat resistance, extreme pressure properties, durability and other characteristics, are intended to replace the old aviation lubricants CIATIM-201, CIATIM-203, NK-50, svitsol and some others. New lubricants are still produced in limited quantities and should only be used for their intended purpose.
