IPM-10

ИПМ-10 - Synthetic hydrocarbon oil based on polyalphaolefins. Contains a complex of highly effective additives. It works reliably in the temperature range from -50 ° С to +200 ° С.

Compared to hydrocracking mineral oils, polyalphaolefin oils have a number of significant advantages: high thermal stability and oxidation resistance (absence of unsaturated hydrocarbons);

low pour point (due to the lack of linear paraffins);

insignificant coking ability and volatility due to uniformity of composition.

The disadvantages of hydrocarbon oils based on polyalphaolefins, in comparison with mineral oils, include: insufficient solubility in relation to certain types of additives; lower compatibility with elastomers (cause loss of elasticity and shrinkage of rubber seals).
