One of the parameters that characterizes the normal operation of an aircraft engine is a parameter called vibration. Aviation engine vibration is the movement of a point or a mechanical system as a whole during a time when the parameters that characterize it increase and decrease with time. The causes of vibration can be:

• - circular uneven air flow at the engine inlet;
• - uneven processes in the flow part of the engine;
• - Ovality of the bearings of the rotors;
• - imbalance of the engine rotors;
• - malfunction of series-connected rotors;
• - thermal imbalance of rotors.
