Description: The ICAO encoder unit constructively combines the decoder KV8 (P13) and the nodes for generating the response signal in the KV8 mode (P12, P14, P15, P17). It provides decoding of the request signals and the formation of a response to ICAO standards. The unit is located on a separate shock-absorber frame. The ICAO code coder (ICAO CIC) for decoding the request codes and the formation of response signals containing information on the aircraft number and flight altitude when working with the ATS RBS radar system, and also for converting the relative resistance of the height indicator sensor UVID-30-15K, proportional to the current altitude, to a binary-cyclic code, for which in the encoder composition of the codes in the form of a separate node includes a height converter.
